Matt Rand is the CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty, one of the 100 largest real estate firms in the United States with over 1200 sales associates serving the tri-state area from offices in Westchester, Bronx, Rockland and Orange counties in New York and Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, and Morris counties in northern New Jersey.    Matt is also a Managing Partner of Rand Commercial Services as well as Hudson United Mortgage, Hudson United Title Services and Hudson United Insurance Services..

Matt currently serves as Chair of the  New York State Board of Real Property Tax Services,  as Board President of People to People, Rockland’s largest food pantry and hunger relief agency and on the Board of Directors of the Rockland Business Association and Pattern For Progress..  He previously served on the Boards of the American Red Cross in Greater New York, the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation (HVEDC), and Leadership Rockland, Inc.

In 2005, Matt received the Rockland Economic Development Corporation’s “Forty under Forty” award.  He served as the President of the Rockland County Board of Realtors in 2004. He is actively involved with the New York State Association of Realtors and the local Realtor Associations and Multiple Listing Services across the Hudson Valley region and Northern New Jersey.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in 1996 and currently resides in West Nyack, NY with his wife and two children.
